About Danielle
Danielle Weirich is a State Licensed Massage Therapist as well as a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association which holds over 46,000 members nationwide. She is a graduate of Fuller Circles School for Therapeutic Massage in Oakland, Maine. Danielle's training covers a wide range of modalities. She holds advanced certificates in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy using the BioSymetrics™ System, which incorporates posture, stretching, neuromuscular therapy, and ergonomics to focus on eliminating chronic pain. She learned Aveda spa treatments working at an Aveda concept spa in Maine and a spa on the coast of Maine specializing in organic body treatments. Danielle has also studied to be an Associate Polarity Practitioner, which is an energy based therapy.
In addition to her private practice, Danielle has worked for a company called Human Performance Systems for 7 years as a team leader. She has helped companies (wood mills, paper mills, ferry boat companies, OSB manufacturers, laboratories, production factories) reduce their workers' compensation costs by implementing ergonomic changes and managing injury risk. Her familiarity with the physical requirements of various occupations gives her excellent understanding of work-related musculoskeletal injuries.
A California native, Danielle appreciates the simple life in Maine. She has a Labrador retriever who likes to hike with her in beautiful Acadia National Park. She is extremely personable and professional.
